Your brain needs a daily workout, and just like your biceps and legs, without the daily workout, it it’ll atrophy worse than missing the gym for a day.
On this site, I constantly emphasize the need to exercise. It’s so critical to gaining confidence and opening your eyes to a different view of yourself. In fact, I truly believe those who are suffering from depressing, loneliness, or those who are just in a funk, could dramatically improve their lives with daily, intense exercise. You literally come out of each workout feeling like a new person, with endless possibilities.

Your brain needs a daily workout, daily stimulation to stay sharp. Far too many people have their heads stuck in their phones, with their brains going into atrophy by not learning something new. I myself can feel my brain getting dumber every time I spend more than 5 minutes wasting time on my phone.
One thing I do every morning is read 5-10 pages from a book. I love learning about psychology and evolutionary biology, so I’m usually reading about those two fields. Not only do I feel smarter, but my overall mood is much calmer, especially if I’ve worked out that day as well.
Be sure to exercise not only your body but your brain as well.
