When you wake up, be like a wild animal to be achieve your goals. There is no other way.
Question, when you wake up in the morning? What’s your “Why am I awake?” question that you ask yourself?
It’s a simple question. It’s not just because you had enough sleep or something woke you up. What makes you want to get up in the morning and get your day going?
When a wild animal wakes up, a lion, a cheetah, a tiger, do you know what it’s “why” is? It’s to go eat. That’s it’s goal for the day. That’s it’s primary objective.
When You Wake Up, Be Like A Wild Animal
For you, getting food is easy enough. Go to the fridge, go to the store. You’re not hunting for your food, but you should be out there chasing your dreams.
One way that I find helps to think about life is comparing it to the amount of money you have available to spend on a given day. There are 86,400 seconds in a day. Imagine if you had to spend that money every day – no carryover allowed. Chances are you’d spend every cent. Why should your life be any different?
We all only have a certain amount of time on this planet and it’s vital to take advantage of every moment. Don’t waste it.
When you wake up in the morning, get a piece of a paper, and write down one think that you really want to accomplish that. Something that’s important to you and that you’d do anyway, whether or not someone would pay you for it.
Some criteria always helps too:
- Does it make me better than I was yesterday?
- Is it something that helps other people?
- Is it something that I’m passionate it?
- Would I do it if I wasn’t getting paid for it?
Be truthful with yourself. Your inner voice knows what you need to be doing to make yourself happy. Listen to it, follow where it takes you.
Make it happen.
